Joseph Ames is
an independent finance transformation and IT strategy consultant to the
Fortune 500, working with consulting firms such as CapGemini, Harvey Nash,
and CSC. An alumnus of Price Waterhouse and IBM, Ames specializes in
organizational and IT strategy, project management, and business
development. He is experienced in technical writing, training, meeting
facilitation, and also Hyperion Solutions BI and finance applications.
Holding graduate degrees from the
Pennsylvania State University and the University of Pennsylvania, Ames
also made post-graduate studies at Villanova University. He is a
member of Delaware Valley Mensa, the Rotary Club of Bryn Mawr, the
Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and the Church of the Good Shepherd,
Rosemont.
Ames, a ham radio operator since
1977, is an active volunteer with the Amateur Radio Emergency Service of
Chester County, Pennsylvania, with special interest in
emergency field operations and digital RF communication modes. He resides
with his family on the Philadelphia
Main Line in the midst of beautiful woods, working horse farms, quaint
colonial villages, and the Spirit of 1776.
